Pappy's Canoe Rental and Shuttle Service

    Pappy's Canoe Rental and Shuttle Service provides canoe and tube rental and shuttle service for the area of the Namekagon River from County K Landing on Highway F in Washburn County to Riverside Landing on Highway 35 north of Danbury. A nearly 30 mile stretch of the National Scenic Riverway, the scenery on this part of the river is unsurpassed and the river flows at a rate friendly to all level of canoers experience.

    Canoing day trips of 2, 3, 4, or 5 hours are available, and overnight, multi-day, or weekend trips can be coordinated with ease. The stretch of the River from Whispering Pines to Howell Landing is perfect for tubers, and generally takes 3-4 hours to complete.

    Reservations are recommended for weekends, particularly for Saturdays during July and August. 2009 rates will be published on or before 1 May.
